When visiting Key West, a top bucket list priority is getting your picture taken at the Southernmost Point marker where “90 Miles to Cuba” is beautifully painted in yellow. With Cuban heritage still being very much present in Key West today, I think back to the late 1800’s when Key West was known as the cigar manufacturing capital of the world and millions of cigars were rolled annually. Though I don’t know what a cigar factory actually smells like, my mind conjures up the sweet smell of Tonka with the ease of teakwood.
